With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, we take pride in serving the finest Indian, Chinese, and Thai cuisine — all prepared with love, passion, and attention to detail.
Our story began nearly three decades ago in New Delhi, India, when Chef Uttam Rawat started his culinary journey as a young helper at the prestigious Oberoi Hotel. Through dedication, hard work, and an unwavering passion for cooking, he rose to become a chef at the same renowned establishment.
His expertise and excellence later brought him to the United States, where he continues to share the true taste of authentic Asian cuisine with the community.

    Mr. Rawat is the heart of Swadist. With over 25 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant industry, he is known for his exceptional skill, creativity, and deep passion for food. Chef Rawat specializes in North Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine, while also mastering Thai and South Indian dishes. His commitment to authenticity and flavor shines through every plate that leaves the kitchen. For more than two decades, he has dedicated his life to serving food that not only satisfies the appetite but also warms the soul — making every dining experience at Swadist truly special.
